An update from the Bluebell Railway regarding their Terrier gala taking place from 29 to 31 July:
‘We are sorry to announce that, despite the hard work and best efforts of our locomotive department, difficulties in obtaining raw materials and parts mean that Fenchurch will not be ready to steam for the Fenchurch 150th Anniversary Bash.
However, visiting Terrier friends No 70 ‘Poplar’ and W11 ‘Newport’ are still coming to the party and ‘Fenchurch’ can be seen on display alongside ‘Stepney’ in the running shed at Sheffield Park Station.
The timetable for the event will be made available shortly.
