On 31 May 2022 the Press were invited to The Kent & East Sussex Railway to see the overhauled ‘Poplar’ return to steam and to enjoy a short journey from Tenterden Town to Wittersham Road station.

Our Terrier 150 Gallery – 2022 has been updated with photographs from the day and also a few pictures of the on-going overhaul of ‘Fenchurch’ at The Bluebell Railway.
So, No. 70 returns ready to celebrate 70 years of the reign of Her Majesty The Queen, and our first Terrier returns to steam in 2022. There are now four locomotives operational – ‘Newport’ at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, ‘Martello’ at Bressingham Steam and Gardens, and both ‘Poplar’ and ‘Knowle’ at The Kent & East Sussex Railway.
